(Carson City, NV) — The Nevada Supreme Court has put future coroner’s inquests on hold in Clark County. The “Review-Journal” says justices have scheduled arguments next month on whether the county’s revised inquest policy is constitutional.
Several Nevada Highway Patrol troopers sued to stop a scheduled inquest into the death of a man who was shot with a stun gun in August 2010.
The new inquest process now provides a lawyer to represent the family of the person who was killed.
