(Las Vegas, NV)  –  A new race and sports book has opened at the Palms.  It’s the sixth owned and operated by Cantor Gaming.  The Las Vegas firm’s newest venue is also the first to include a poker area.  It features two rooms, one for the general public and a glass-enclosed area for high-rollers.  Cantor executives hope to add more poker rooms if the concept succeeds.  The company operates sports books at five other resorts in the valley, including the Tropicana, Hard Rock and the Venetian.
