(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Canyon Springs High had more reported violent incidents than any other school in Clark County.  KLAS-TV says according to the school district, the North Las Vegas campus reported 102 incidents last school year.  Legacy, Sunrise Mountain, DelSol and Arbor View are also in the top five.  Incidents are defined as violence aimed at students and staff, weapons possession, and use of alcohol and drugs.

    high school s in las vegas weapons-drugs&alcohol will allways be there [why] the system is afraid of violting their rigths [stop& think how ineffective campus police are a dumkmm parent

  2. As a teacher at Canyon I will say that despite this information I have never been afraid to work their during my five years there.

      I too teach at Canyon and I have never felt unsafe or afraid to come to school. Maybe we are the one of the few school that reports these incidents.

        Some kids were saying it’s just because we actually report the incidents Sergeant Long. Mostly I’ve heard that if the other schools would then Mohave would be number one.

    There has been days that there is a fight every single day of the week.
    When there is a fight in the lunch room, a food fight always sparks out.
    There has been an incident in which a fight occurred and a student was knocked out and was sent to the hospital.
