(Las Vegas, NV) — The 22-year-old Las Vegas man accused in the brutal sexual assaults and murders of a 38-year-old mother and her 10-year-old daughter had a not guilty plea entered for him in the courtroom of Justice of the Peace Joe Sciscento. In a very brief hearing, Bryan Clay was told to be back in court on June 15th where evidence will be presented in the bloody deaths of Yadira Martinez and her daughter Karla. While two young Martinez boys – ages 9 and 4 – were spared during the attack in their home two weeks ago, the same could not be said for their father. We’re told Arturo Martinez is still hospitalized, unable to speak. Police say Clay is also a suspect in the sexual assault of a 50-year-old woman just hours before the murders with the theft of that woman’s cell phone reportedly helping lead them to Clay. He was in court yesterday hearing charges in the beating of his pregnant 16-year-old ex girlfriend.
