(Las Vegas, NV)  — After more than two decades on the Las Vegas Strip, an Irish-themed casino will close its doors. O’Sheas will shut down Monday at Noon. Its parking garage will then be imploded early Tuesday morning at 2:30am.

Portions of  the Las Vegas Strip will be closed to traffic to accommodate the implosion.

  • Northbound and southbound lanes of Las Vegas Boulevard in front of Caesars Palace from Flamingo Road to the Mirage Hotel.
  • Winnick Avenue located behind the Imperial Palace and Flamingo hotels on the east side of both properties.
  • Audrie Street also behind the Imperial Palace and Flamingo hotels.
The streets will be closed from 1:00am until 6:00am.
O’Sheas, known for beer pong and a lucky leprechaun, is making way for Caesars Entertainment’s new Linq entertainment complex.  A smaller version of O’Sheas will be part of the new project.
