GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Las Vegas, NV)  —   A group of Nevada Highway Patrol troopers want to stop next week’s scheduled coroner’s inquest into the death of a Henderson man.  The five officers have asked the state Supreme Court to block the hearing.  Eduardo Lopez-Hernandez died in August 2010, after he was tasered following a road rage incident.  This week, Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson released his review of the case and said the troopers’ actions were justified.

Officers are opposed to changes in the inquest process, including the use of an omnibusman to represent the dead person’s family.
