(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A new heart valve procedure is being called a success. Sunrise Hospital’s first-ever Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement was performed Monday, and the patient is doing fine.  Doctors use a small incision in the groin instead of open heart surgery to replace a valve. Sunrise officials say for qualified patients, TAVR allows for better outcomes and quicker recovery.
