(Las Vegas, NV) –Two lawmakers running for the U.S. Senate agree Las Vegas and other tourism cities should not be banned from hosting federal agency conferences.

Yesterday, Congresswoman Shelley Berkley announced she would introduce a House bill to end the so-called “blacklist” of Vegas and other cities.  Senator Dean Heller said he would present a similar bill in the Senate.

Both accuse critics of trying to hurt Vegas, following the much-criticized GSA gathering at the M Resort in 2010.
