(Las Vegas, NV) – Five Metro Police officers remain on paid administrative leave after a deadly weekend shooting in the northwest valley. Authorities say the officers were called out to a reported car theft early Saturday morning near Jones and Smoke Ranch Road. The car was pulled over, but the woman driving the car refused to get out. Police say a crisis intervention officer tried to talk to the woman over a PA system, when she got out of the car and pointed a gun at the officers. The officers then fired shots, killing her.
