(Las Vegas, NV) — Students at Nevada colleges and universities could face surcharges to offset rising costs.
The Board of Regents will vote today to impose permanent surcharges of 13-percent for undergraduates, and five-percent for graduate students. Regents are also scheduled to vote today on making Marc Johnson the new president of UNR.
Earlier this week, a panel recommended the interim president be given the job on a permanent basis.
