Officials Hope GSA Hearings Won’t Hurt Vegas

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The General Services Administration will be in the spotlight this week for an expensive Las Vegas Valley gathering, and officials hope the city won’t become a scapegoat. Mayor Carolyn Goodman says the focus should be on what she calls the “fiscal responsibility” of the GSA. Senators Harry Reid and Dean Heller have made similar pleas. The first of several Congressional hearings on the October 2010 gathering at the M Resort begins today.
