(Las Vegas, NV) — Authorities have identified the burglary suspect involved in a southeast valley police standoff.
33 year-old Devon Cooper remains held on various charges. He was arrested Thursday morning by Metro SWAT officers, after a three-hour standoff at an evacuated apartment complex on Boulder Highway and Sandhill. Cooper has been charged with attempted murder after ramming a police car earlier in the week.
Police say “tactical devices” were used to take Cooper into custody. He has a long history of run-ins with the law.
