I am disgusted at how this situation was handled by the city. How can you close the streets and not the pedestrian access sidewalks/bridges? I am even more appalled at the pedestrians taking pictures of this gruesome incident. This is something that no one ever needs to see – other than those directly involved with the scene. There should be better methods in place for when accidents of this caliber happen on the strip. Let’s start with a sectioned off courtesy curtain. Thanks.

The pedestrian was obviously jay walking and tried to cross other than in a crosswalk and against the lights.

It was dark, not in a crosswalk, a tall fence in the median had been jumped over into the lane of traffic. Prob up all night, not aware of much, and Bingo! Of course the driver “sped away”, and we all know why, either illegal, no insurance, or no drivers license, or DUI himself.
