(Las Vegas) –  The two-week filing period for elective offices is over in Nevada, and some key races are shaping up this presidential election year.  Republican incumbent Dean Heller and Democrat Shelley Berkley are vying for a seat in the U.S. Senate, while former congresswoman Dina Titus is considered a favorite to replace Berkley in the Vegas Valley’s  First District.  Also favored is Republican Mark Amodei [[ ah-MUH-day ]], who represents northern Nevada’s Second District.  Republican Joe Heck is seeking a second term in the Third District, while the newly-created Fourth District is considered competitive.  The primary election is June 12th
