SnoBar is a hybrid ice cream-and-alcohol product coming into the market from California. Big Dog’s Rebel Red  is a locally-brewed craft beer that’s expanding to retail and restaurant venues, after 20 years as an exclusively in-house beer at the Big Dog cafe and Draft House.

SnoBar anticipates particular success poolside, where it will sell margarita ice pops for between 8 and 12 dollars.  The company also makes a premium ice cream product that can be  frothed up in the blender with ice and served in a martini glass, Each serving is the equivalent of one mixed drink.

Big Dog’s is a Las Vegas success story.  The beer has been brewed here since 1993, and will triple its output this year to produce enough for local supermarket shelves and bars.  The Rebel Red is a seasonal brew, cleverly revived last week during the UNLV team’s brief moment in the Big Dance.  Rebel Red is one of 8 brews the company makes.
