KXNT has learned that today’s fire at The Golden Nugget was set intentionally. Just before 8:30 this morning, reports of smoke inside the Golden Nugget Hotel led to a two-alarm response from Clark County Firefighters.  The fire on the 22nd floor of the 25-story downtown hotel was contained to a single guest room.  A man was found unconscious in the room and transported to the hospital in critical condition.  As a precaution, approximately 60 people were evacuated from adjacent floors.  Stay tuned to KXNT for the latest on this developing story.
