Super Tuesday did little to change the structure of the Republican race for the White House. KXNT and Kevin Wall hosted a town hall meeting at Born and Raised to give people a chance to listen to what the candidates had to say-
John: I think Santorum is going to take off again. Remember, we have a primary coming up in Alabama and I guarantee you Santorum will do better than Romney. He has a very good chance of going all the way.
Larry:If I was running for president I would take my legislative ideas and I would have my priorities made up into bills. Like Huey Long, this is what I want. It’s already written on paper.
Bill:We’ve (Gingrich campaign) got to do better than we did tonight. I mean, winning Georgia is great, but we have to pick up more delegates. That’s the whole deal, is electing and winning delegates.
Mitt Romney won six states, Santorum took three while Newt Gingrich won only his home state of Georgia.
Romney now leads with 415 delegates.
Santorum is in second with 176 delegates.
Gingrich has 105, and Ron Paul has 47.
