LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a 27-year-oldLas Vegasman has been arrested on murder and battery with a deadly weapon charges in the slaying of a rival gang member and wounding of a bystander outside a strip club in November.
Police say Terrell Lamount Durr was arrested Thursday in the 4:15 a.m. Nov. 27 slaying of 23-year-old Robert James Turman outside the Deja Vu Erotic Ultra Lounge several blocks west of the Las Vegas Strip. Another man was shot in the foot.
A police arrest report says Turman was shot several times with a .40-caliber handgun by a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt after an argument inside the club.
Police say they linked Durr to the shooting through text message records from a cell phone belonging to his mother.
