(Las Vegas, NV) – A vocal meeting of the state Taxicab Authority ended with board members voting not to allocate additional cars on Las Vegas streets. Cab drivers interrupted yesterday’s hearing while taxi operators asked for more cars to handle March Madness visitors and the NASCAR race at the Motor Speedway. Chairwoman Ileana Drobkin had to call a recess twice after drivers shouted out the cab owners. The drivers say more cabs mean less revenue for them.
