Candidates Spar In Special Election
(Las Vegas, NV) — There’s a spat in the special election for a Las Vegas City Council seat. The Review-Journal says former state lawmaker Bob Beers has questioned whether a developer should serve on the city planning commission. The barb was aimed at rival Ric Truesdell, whose spokesman called Beers a, quote, “political hack.” Beers and Truesdell are among nine candidates vying to replace new district attorney Steve Wolfson in Ward Two. The election will be held March 20th.
