(Las Vegas, NV) — After four months, the Occupy Las Vegas encampment is no more. The last of the protesters left peacefully yesterday afternoon, after their permit to camp out near Tropicana and Paradise expired. Clark County officials allowed the group to take over the land in October. The Vegas offshoot of the Occupy Wall Street movement protested what they saw as corporate greed and economic equality in the valley, including the high rate of foreclosures.
