Tom Perrigo is with the City of Las Vegas and discussed the savings the city will see throughout the years. “Currently, the old city hall pays on average of $700 thousand a year. The new city hall will be closer to $250 thousand annually.” That savings of nearly $500 thousand a year will certainly allow the city to budget differently and allow for other projects to move forward. The city used stimulus funds to do 27 solar projects across the city, which included multiple fire houses and the mob museum.
