(Las Vegas,NV)  —  The babysitter who usually cares for three children injured in Wednesday night’s apartment fire is denying any wrongdoing.  Two three-year-old twins and their five-year-old brother remain hospitalized for smoke inhalation after a mattress caught fire in the apartment near Charlestonand Bruce.  Fire investigators say the blaze was caused bythe unattended children playing with matches and lighters. Gary Layton tells the “Review-Journal” the mother had told him he wouldn’t be needed to babysit on the night of the fire.  The Clark County Department of Family Services is conducting an investigation. Police are expected to file charges.
