(Las Vegas,NV) — Allegiant Air has been fined 100-thousand dollars by the federal government for a pair of violations. The Department of Transportation says the Vegas-based airline failed to disclose taxes and fees on a “fly free” promotion. Allegiant was also cited for not properly responding to complaints from people with disabilities. The airline must pay half of the fine within a month. The rest will be due only if Allegiant commits other violations over the next year.
