(Las Vegas, NV) —  About 40 employees at the Vegas Strip’s newest resort are out of a job.  The Cosmopolitan says it has laid off workers in its gaming operations.  In a statement, resort officials call the job loss a “small reduction” of “less than one percent” of their nearly 4200 work force.  The Cosmopolitan opened to the public in December 2010.
