(Las Vegas, NV) — There’s more evidence Las Vegas is bouncing back. The city’s Convention and Visitors Authority says 2011 was the second-best year ever for visitor volume. Nearly 39-million tourists came to Sin City last year, just shy of the record set in 2007. Authority chief Rossi Ralenkotter says the improved numbers confirm Vegas as the “premiere travel destination in the world.” Officials expect a record 40-million visitors this year.
