(Las Vegas, NV) — There is one less Democratic primary candidate for a seat in the House. State Senator Ruben Kihuen says he’s giving up his run for the First Congressional District. In a statement, Kihuen concluded his efforts to win what he called a “resource draining primary” would not be in his best interest. Former Congresswoman Dina Titus is now considered the clear favorite to win the primary. Shelley Berkley, who currently represents the urban Las Vegas district, is running for the U.S. Senate.
