Las Vegas – UNLV football head coach Bobby Hauck announced changes on Tuesday in his staff that will result in the Rebels having a new coordinator on both sides of the ball.  Third-year assistant Brent Myers will now serve as offensive coordinator as well as continuing to coach tight ends while third-year assistant J.D. Williams will take over as defensive coordinator along with continuing his duties overseeing the secondary.  Rob Phenicie, who served as coordinator during Hauck’s first two seasons, will continue his role as the team’s quarterbacks coach. Kraig Paulson, who was defensive coordinator in 2010-11, will continue coaching the squad’s outside linebackers and take over the position of Assistant Head Coach. That means UNLV will enjoy the rare luxury of having the entire staff return when spring practice begins March 12.
