(Las Vegas, NV) — The Nevada Republican Party has finally certified the results of Saturday’s presidential caucus, and the numbers are good news for Mitt Romney. The former Massachusetts governor received 50-percent of the vote, with Newt Gingrich a distant second with 21-percent. Ron Paul was third with 18-point-seven percent, and Rick Santorum came in last with less than ten-percent. Romney’s margin of victory increased after a hand count of ballots from Clark County. The manual count was needed because some ballots were hand-written, and there were reports of problems at some precincts. The state GOP didn’t certify the final results until early this morning.
