(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Caesars Entertainment’s $550-million Linq project is underway on the Vegas Strip.  Officials say the pedestrian retail and entertainment venue between the Flamingo and Imperial Palace began construction in November.  It will include a 550-foot-tall observation wheel.  The “Sun” says some tennis courts and hotel rooms have made way for The Linq.  It will create about 1500 permanent jobs when it opens at the end of 2013.
