Vegas Pizzeria Gets Bump From Obama Order
LAS VEGAS (AP) — A Las Vegas pizzeria has received a bump in business after getting an order from President Barrack Obama.
Dom DeMarco’s co-owner Albert Scalleat says the restaurant has seen about a 15 percent increase in pizza orders since news got out about the delivery.
Obama ordered a dozen pizzas and even more cannolis during his overnight stay in Las Vegas this week.
Scalleat told the Las Vegas Sun that patrons have swarmed his dining room and the restaurant’s “phone hasn’t stopped ringing” since the delivery.
He says he also has received calls from the national media seeking information about the president’s order.
Obama left Las Vegas on Thursday after an overnight stop to promote clean energy jobs and higher taxes for the nation’s millionaires
