(Las Vegas, NV)  —  Competition has led some Vegas cab drivers to hold passengers hostage.  The “Review-Journal” says at least six people have told the state Taxicab Authority their drivers have locked the doors in an effort to squeeze a bigger tip out of them.  Cabbies claim their take-home pay has dropped because more taxis are allowed during major events such as the recent Consumer Electronics Show.  The authority is investigating the complaints.
