Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman is accepting a challenge to live on less than five-dollars worth of groceries every day for a week.  Three Square Food Bank has launched the “SNAP Experience,” asking local residents to feed themselves on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program allocation of just over four dollars a day.  About one in six valley residents currently struggle with hunger.
