(Las Vegas ,NV)  —  Synthetic versions of cocaine and marijuana are now illegal in Nevada.  The state Board of Pharmacy approved an emergency order yesterday, banning the sale of so-called “bath salts” and “spice.” The order is good for 120 days, but a Legislative panel will consider a permanent ban next month. The action came after lawmakers and police criticized the board for moving too slowly to stop the sale and manufacture of synthetic drugs.
