(Las Vegas, NV) — Metro Police are urging witnesses to help identify the shooters who killed a local teenager. Seventeen-year-old Betty Jean Pinkney was killed early Sunday morning during a party at a home near Alexander and Lamb. A second shooting victim, 32-year-old Karen Sinatra, is in stable condition. Homicide Lieutenant Ray Steiber said an argument took place at the party, and the group was kicked out. He says a number of shots were fired at the home from outside. One of the bullets went through a wall and struck Pinkney. Steiber says gang involvement has not been ruled out. If you have information, you are asked to call Metro or Crimestoppers at 385-5555.
