A woman has agreed to a plea bargain for her role in the death of a teacher. Twenty-one year-old Bridget Lugo has pleaded guilty to five counts of conspiracy, and prosecutors have agreed to drop 19 other counts, including murder and armed robbery. Authorities say Lugo and five others attacked 50-year-old Eldorado High chemistry teacher Timothy VanDerbosch as he was walking to Eldorado High in October 2010, leaving him unconscious in the street. He was then hit by a passing truck and died. Lugo will face one to six years on each count when she is sentenced. A date has yet to be set.
