The woman accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death will make her first court appearance later this morning. According to a police report, 29-year-old Chamel Smith admitted she stabbed 25-year-old Johnny Sheffield at their apartment near Swenson and Twain on Tuesday morning. Smith told detectives she was upset over Sheffield’s attitude over the recent death of their newborn child and what she called “his desire to go drink with friends.”
