(Las Vegas, NV) — With Christmas now a memory, Las Vegas is turning its attention to the next big holiday. On New Years Eve, fireworks will be launched from the rooftops of eight Vegas Strip resorts at the stroke of midnight, as part of a nine-minute pyrotechnics show. The Convention and Visitors Authority estimates nearly 315-thousand people will visit Sin City to ring in 2012, spending close to 200-million dollars, not including gaming.
