Cop Knew Of Plan To Take Suspect Alive

(Las Vegas, NV) The Vegas officer who shot and killed an unarmed Gulf War vet knew of a plan to take the man alive before the shooting happened. Police sources tell the “Review-Journal” Jesus Arevalo was briefed by supervisors about using a beanbag gun and pepper spray on 43-year-old Stanley Gibson, to get the man out of his car at a northwest valley condo complex December 12th. Arevalo and three other officers are on paid leave. Funeral services will be held for Gibson later today at the veterans cemetery in Boulder City.
