(Las Vegas, NV) — If you’re caught driving under the influence this holiday, you won’t get a break from the officer who arrests you. Metro and North Las Vegas police, along with the Nevada Highway Patrol, will step up DUI efforts over the next two weeks. Additional officers and saturation patrols are planned, especially on New Year’s Eve. If you’re convicted for DUI, judges say you can expect to pay thousands of dollars in fines, legal fees and other costs.
