LAS VEGAS – Plans are now set for the New Year’s Eve celebration on the Las Vegas Strip. The Convention and Visitors Authority announced that fireworks will be launched at midnight of the New Year from the rooftops of eight properties on the Strip, as part of the “America’s Party 2012.” The fireworks locations are the MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian, and the Stratosphere. The fireworks show will last nearly nine minutes. LVCVA Chairman Tom Collins says 315,000 visitors are expected in Las Vegas this New Years.
