GEORGE NOORY IN LAS VEGAS: Get tickets now -- be there June 9!

(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A federal judge has upheld Clark County’s revised coroner’s inquest process for police shootings.  U.S. District Judge Philip Pro says the changes, which include the use of an ombudsman to represent the victim’s family, does not violate the rights of police officers.  But Pro did send the case back to state court, which will decide if using a justice of the peace to preside over an inquest violates the Nevada Constitution’s separation clause.
