County Worker Busted For Child Porn

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities in Las Vegas say a spokesman for the Clark County nuclear waste office is facing federal child pornography charges stemming from an Internet file sharing investigation.

County officials say 40-year-old Erik Muller faces dismissal from his job following his arrest and Nov. 30 indictment on charges of sexual exploitation of a child, and advertising, transporting, receipt and possession of child pornography.

An aide to U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden says Muller is in federal custody pending trial Feb. 7 in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas.

Muller’s federal public defense attorney declined comment.

A criminal complaint says Henderson police seized Muller’s home and work computers and found evidence of web chats with apparently underage girls, recordings of Muller on web videos, and video images of young girls in sex acts.
