Motorcycle Policeman, Woman Injured In Crash

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (AP) — A North Las Vegas motorcycle policeman and a female driver have been injured in a crash.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that the accident happened about 4:15 p.m. Friday when the 51-year-old woman driving a sedan failed to yield to traffic during a left turn.

Officer Chrissie Coon says the policeman collided with the car and was thrown from his motorcycle.

Coon says that the policeman was hospitalized with injuries that aren’t life-threatening, while the woman was being treated for minor injuries.
