(Las Vegas, NV)  —  The Flamingo is remodeling most of its 3500 hotel rooms. The first of the refurbished rooms will be available after the new year. Guests will be treated to rooms with a residential feel, including hardwood floors instead of the usual carpeting. It’s part of parent Caesars Entertainment’s plans to refurbish the iconic Strip resort as part of its $550-million Project Linq development, which will include retail and dining venues and a 550-foot observation wheel.
