LAS VEGAS (AP) — Convention attendees in Las Vegas will be a bit more wired soon.
The Las Vegas Convention Center announced it will be expanding its free Wi-Fi Internet access to customers in all public areas at the facility.
Officials from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority say wireless access is vital for businesspeople, and they’re trying to make the city more inviting for them.
Basic wireless access will be available for free, while visitors can upgrade to a faster connection for $13 a day. A premium connection for trade show exhibitors costs $100 per day.
The convention center expects to launch the service early next year.
