(Las Vegas, NV)  —  A proposed city ordinance requiring banks to maintain foreclosed properties is moving forward. A committee has approved the measure, and the City Council could vote on the plan as early as next month. It requires banks to move quicker in making repairs and cleaning up vacant homes. The measure is designed to reduce blight in local neighborhoods.
