(Las Vegas, NV)  –  Fewer smokers are lighting up in Nevada. In 1999, the Silver State had the highest smoking rate in the nation.  Today, just one out of five Nevada adults smoke, while smoking among youths is down to 17%. Thursday is the annual Great American Smokeout, and Nevada has a hotline for help to quit the habit. The number is 1-800-784-8669.
