(Las Vegas, NV) — Manny Pacquiao defeated Juan Manuel Marquez by majority
decision to retain the WBO welterweight title at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Pacquiao won on two-of-three scorecards.

The third judge scored the bout a draw. The fight was tightly contested and scored, and Pacquiao was showered
with boos from the crowd after the decision was announced. It was the third fight between the two, with Pacquiao having won the last two after a draw. The 32-year-old Pacquiao is now 54-3-and-2 all-time.
