(Las Vegas, NV)  —  County commissioners have approved plans to reopen the now-closed Sahara hotel. The Strip resort’s owners say they will renovate the casino floor and more than 1600 rooms, but the hotel’s roller coaster will come down. The Sahara closed its doors in May, leaving over 1000 workers without jobs.
